House of the Dragon Episode 8 Release Date: Today's Update Regarding the Release!

 The conclusion of House of the Dragon's first season is growing nearer all the time. The marriage of Daemon (Matt Smith) and Rhaenyra (Emma D'Arcy) served as the climax of episode 7, which also marked the beginning of a new Targaryen alliance. Before returning their focus to the Iron Throne, the contented couple took some measure of revenge on Laenor Velaryon, played by John Macmillan, by eliminating him from the picture. In other news, Alicent's increasing hostility toward her daughter-in-law nearly led to public carnage, but on the bright side, the greens now have a new dragon at their disposal.

The absence of particular personalities is the aspect of the trailer that stands out most clearly. Both King Viserys I (Paddy Considine) and Corlys Velaryon (Steve Toussaint), who are only mentioned in the trailer, appear to be in very poor health. King Viserys I will be played by Considine, and Toussaint will play Velaryon.
